Each one of us have our own uniqueness. We have our own preferences and when it comes to food, we also have our own likes and dislikes.
My daughter and husband find my tendency to like most meals with vinegar like the famous Adobo viand most Filipinos love. The more vinegar it has, the more I like to eat it. Same goes with most of the food on my plate. I just love adding a teaspoon of vinegar on my corned tuna and beef with egg, scrambled/sunny side up and even hardboiled eggs, stir fry noodles, tocino (pork or chicken meat that has been caramelized), longganiza, tilapia and fried rice. Yes! I love vinegar and I don’t know why.
I just find the marrying of the tart and sour taste of vinegar very appealing to my palate. A sample of that is my lunch today. I cooked corned tuna with scrambled egg and pinch of turmeric for a healthier option and a 1/2 cup of steamed rice. And guess what else is there, a cafe latte and a small portion of vinegar which I generously poured over my corned tuna. The verdict – a resounding YUMMY! You should try it!
